With All People who love the land. You stand for Truth, they can fool you never,
They forget but should remember,
You are gifted to us, by the Creator.
Your strength of heart sores Forever.
Carnival - The footsteps of freedom
When you hear the beat, listen to the rhythm of the steel drums,
see our hands and voices to the skies, look closely to see the tears in our eyes, our hearts are filled with love and pride.
When we touch road, we dance the path under the beauty and love of our ancestral skies.
Be Proud
We are birthed out of creation, Molded by the earthen clay,
The drums call out, assemble village with elder,
We are the origin of black gold.
Celebrate Timeless peoples of linage old. Our features are fashioned.
The air, earth, sea and fires.
Visible in our crowned hairs, in the beauty of our eyes.
Look up, listen and learn you will see Sankofa as she flies.
Black Excellence has always existed; it is where the world began, it built legacy, Spirituality, lineage of clans and tribes.
